From the cool, distant south comes Lio Penguin – here to gently illuminate the dark and bring peace at bedtime. Lio is made from cuddly soft grey and cream-coloured plush and is perfect for snuggling up with. Inside is a soothing night light that can be removed via a discreet zip for easy cleaning and maintenance. Lio is 23 cm tall and has the iconic Steiff button in his ear. He is a comforting companion for the night, offering a sense of security and helping to make bedtime a peaceful ritual. The light has three settings. In the ‘ON’ or ‘TIMER’ setting, the warm white light can be easily switched on and off by pressing her tummy. In “TIMER” mode, the light switches off automatically after 30 minutes, and in ‘OFF’ mode, it is switched off and cannot be switched on. The night light has a safety clasp and must be removed for washing and charging. When fully charged (the battery indicator turns green; red indicates that it is still charging), it will shine for up to nine hours. The night light can be charged with a commercially available USB charger with a USB-C port. This is not included with the product.
